Doug had the exact same thought on the town & country horn that I did

Also, I know I’ve said it many times on here, but a black 560SEL ranks VERY high on my attainable dream car list.

I’m on the BMW side, but even I can appreciate this as a ‘true Mercedes-Benz’.

It ranks high on my attainable dream car list too.

Here’s a series of articles chronicling its rise and fall . While wordy, they gave me a newfound appreciation of the 126, now it’s my favourite ‘modern’ S-Class.

Feeding the leather in these cars will cure a lot of the little squeaks.

Haven’t even watched the video. But I thought “ you can get the horn with a bumper to bumper warranty? Sweet”

I can’t say I haven’t thought about wiring up extra horns for this very purpose...

One thing I don’t like is the lower body cladding. I like my w123 because it has the more classic look. But maybe this car in silver would help with that.

I still want one of these, almost this same exact car but with a handful of modifications.

Years ago I worked as a recording engineer for an orchestra, and one of our cellists had one of these in this same color scheme. The windows were seriously tinted, the factory alloys were chromed, and the car was lowered a tad. Drop dead gorgeous. Give me one just like that.
